During summer it looks like alaska will be 2x daily and delta 1x for a total of 3x CMH-sea daily. CLE will have 3-4x per week, something is amiss!

Also, I concur with EI a321 being the logical Tatl flight, also they have pre-clearance in ireland so no need to deal with customs/border in CLE. If lufthansa had 321s with the range to munich that would be more likely than frankfurt, as others have said, frankfurt is a connecting point, whereas dublin or munich are not just a connecting point IMO. If BA or KLM/AF (or delta) had a321s london/paris/ams would make sense too. 184 seats is the current EI 321LR configuration. I'm not saying all of these would happen, but surely one of them would take alot of market share away from UA.
