Wow. This pretty much removes AS' competitive advantage for California based flyers with the exception of the mileage program. AS still has the better program at the lowest elite tier level (50% mileage bonus vs. UA's 25% bonus) but that's about it. I think I'm willing to sacrifice that 25% to have an occasional seat in F, occasionally fly on a widebody and have Channel 9.
Was there any mention of better food and/or free drinks in the premium section?
