Fastjet seems to be the preferred airline now. They are operating local routes - in December I did a return Harare - Bulawayo trip. They have partnered with a another operator (I cannot think of the name now), on the Bulawayo - Harare return leg, they used Federal Airlines. ( I found the inflight magazine).
Fastjet also runs a few daily flights to JNB, and even though they have the odd delays, at least they are better than Air Zim where delays can last several hours. When I was in Harare, the ATC went on a go slow due to the work load... so that caused several delays and cancellations. Poor things could not handle the few flights that arrive and depart daily....
