God I hate it when people spread misinformation. The GH is staying open until “at least” end of 2022. They are still maintaining it and accepting reservations into 2022, as well.
My understanding is that the proposal to replace it is just that, a proposal. It hasn’t been approved. Given what is likely to happen to the travel economy (prob already in recession) I’d say the odds of it actually being demolished anytime soon are diminishing....
