it's not always obvious what your fare class will be when you book directly with LH as they use fare categories ("Light" etc.) which don't map to fare classes.
If you are booking on LH.com you can see the fare classes easily.
In your search results select a fare on the flight(s) you are interested in and then click on "Show booking classes" in the lower right-hand side.
You will then get a modal box that shows the fare classes.
