FYI, I was able to use the minimum number of AAdvantage miles required for a round trip award ticket with the transatlantic and European flights on BA (Club World & Club Europe) and the domestic flights on AA in F. Of course, I also had to pay exorbitant surcharges but that's another story. BTW, the DFW to LHR flight on BA will be on board a new B787-10 and the LHR to AUS flight will be on board a new A350-1000 (and the new Club World suites appear to be very nice on the latter aircraft).
