I'm not sure any relevance can be inferred from that; Europe (?) to West Coast is a completely different market than the OP's specific LAX-CDG flights.
Even looking at the OP's chosen flights - AF65/66 - for the same days -
but travelling in the opposite direction, i.e. starting from CDG - we can see that the prices are roughly half.
