That is why spend money and get an APEC card.

Plus both TPE and TSA departure customs and security are like ghost towns. I was able to go through customs within like 2 minutes. Even normal lines is like 3 minutes tops.

this is around 5pm where first bank of NA departures.

never seen TPE so empty
