Im flying Air China from Paris to Bangkok on 29 April 2020 with a 2 hour layover in Beijing. The return flight will be also with Air China, from Singapore to Paris, on the 17 May 2020, with a 5 hour layover in Chengdu. The ticket starts with 999 as they require, but I’ll only be transiting in China.

Given the dates of the flights and the fact that I’ll only be in China for layovers, is my booking still eligible for cancellation with full refund?

Sorry for the long post XD I made some research but I always find contradicting opinions on this matter.

Thank you very much!!
Welcome to FT!

Why would you cancel/refund tickets for late April/mid May now? Hopefully this virus thing will be over by then and CA will be operating back to normal. I can certainly understand why you experienced resistance to cancel tickets more almost 3 months out!
