I was on a flight to CDG from JFK several years ago sitting in Economy and prior to landing a lady across the aisle put her Passport on the seat and left to go to the lavatory. When she returned, it was gone. We looked everywhere and it was never located. During the time she was away from her seat several people were up and down the aisle.
