I rented a car from Avis in Germany over the Christmas and New Year period, while there I was caught out by a speed camera. I believe I was roughly 8km/h too fast.
Would Avis send a note saying I have been charged or just charge my Amex? Happy to pay the fine, but surprised that I haven't been charged yet, five weeks after I was snapped on camera.
I have rented from Avis a few times a year for the last six or so years, but usually I stick to the speed limit, so have no experience.
