The showers and the complimentary nap room for Transit passengers (near Gate 230 as well as Gate 268) in the marked Transit Lounge - are of great quality. The shower room has enough space to stow carry on luggage, then take a shower, dry off (free towel, free hair dryer, liquid soap). ICN is a very passenger friendly airport.
Meanwhile the Korean air lounge couldnt accommodate my Skyteam lounge privileges (via Delta Gold card - for $29) as the desk agents had no clue how to handle it. Anyhow, I was better off not spending that money in retrospect!
HUH? The KE lounges at ICN are not SCs and your DL Gold AmEx credit card does not entitle you to enter for $29 (or any paid amount).
What would entitle you to enter (for free) on any same day SkyTeam international itinerary would be status with DL that is equivalent to SkyTeam ElitePlus. This means GM+ or at least GOLD STATUS, but *not* some Gold credit card even with payment using that card.
