UA 916 AKL-SFO canceled today and rescheduled as a special section tomorrow. Flight status amenities lists only beverage service for the rescheduled flight. I can live without eating for 12 hours if I eat before the flight (and can purchase stuff to eat onboard obviously), but is it a realistic possibility that a flight that long would only have beverages? I've had domestic flights and shorter long-haul flights like EWR-Europe rescheduled before, but never one this long.
