They have made that change recently to japan airpass. But the highest booking class was only M.

What makes you think your green card is safe? It’s just a matter of time before they get to the green card holders. This is an airline with constant cost cuttings. If green card is no longer profitable or not profitable enough, they will be cut or “enhanced”.
