For the first question, technically no access to the F lounge as under *A rules this is for departures only in the onwards cabin class - in your case this is J, not F (unlike OW rules).
Lounges do close in the small hours for cleaning etc (2am -5am I think).
Whether you can change to the red eye the night before will depend on the fare rules of the ticket concerned. No standby systems exists as in some other markets. If a flexible ticket, then I assume this is possible, perhaps with a change fee.
