Stayed here for four nights over NYE and I liked it a lot, mainly because a very good rate and the layout of our upgraded room (Deluxe Room) was great. There was a higher category room available Premium Deluxe Room which is basically 10 m2 bigger with a nice bathtub at the bed but I didn't use our status to get it as we'll be in town most of our time. We were already upgraded from base room category anyway.
The room felt like a bigger apartment and the size is just 32m2. Very nice layout with a hall separating the bathroom and bedroom. The interior of the room impressed us as shown in above picture in this thread. The Amsterdam team behind the interiors did an amazing job here.
Staff are great and breakfast is like with W Amsterdam, you have a buffé but can only order from the menu. Breakfast was given to us as our Welcome amenity or we could choose 750 points/day instead.
Unfortunately there were two fire alarms during our stay, one woke up us at 23.30 on our 2nd night when we were asleep. The other one when we were about to check out. Apparently there was a small fire in the hotel's kitchen I think during the first fire alarm. Not sure about the second one.
Had some technical issues with the AC the first night and it woke us up. We brought this up with reception and they sent a technician some hours later and he fixed it. The 2nd night the fire alarm woke us up at 23.30. The 3rd and 4th night we slept without any disturbances in a very comfortable bed.
The location of the hotel is 4 tram stops away from München Hauptbahnhof and it takes about 6 minutes to get here with tram. Walking perhaps 15-20 minutes to Hbf.
It's not ideal to walk all the way to Hbf as the trams are pretty frequent. We didn't have a problem with the location and it's easy to get a ticket thanks to the MVG app.

This is the west side of München and there are not so much to do here other than walking distance to the Endless staircase, a vehicle museum, the augustiner restaurant on the same street but on the other side.
I can imagine Roomer München is great for the october fest as it's 5-10 minutes walking distance to Tollwood.
This is my first time at an Autograph hotel actually but I'm very impressed. W hotels are too much for my taste personally. I'll look for some more Autograph hotels around the world. Perhaps also look for some other Roomer hotels in Germany
