Finnair Plus has also announced on their web page that they will give 15,000 extra Finnair Plus points. As one point equals one kilometre, AY Plus members will get less than mileage based FFP members. However the extra points will contribute to the tier points balance.
Quote from Finnair Plus:
oneworld™ alliance celebrates its fifth anniversary and you have a special opportunity to earn 15,000 extra points when you take three scheduled oneworld flights during 1.10-30.11.2004. One of these flights has to be a scheduled Finnair flight and the other two scheduled flights with any oneworld airline.
- oneworld airlines are Finnair, Aer Lingus, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Iberia, Lan Airlines and Qantas.
- First Class and Business Class flights as well as certain Economy Class flights (booking classes Y, B and H) contribute to this campaign.
- Points will be awarded according to the Finnair Plus rules.
- These points contribute significantly to your tier points balance. Other possible points campaigns accordant with your tracking period are valid simultaneously.
- Campaign conditions will be fulfilled when your third flight is registered on your Plus account.
- Extra points will be registered after your third flight and they affect to your tracking period of that time. All points will be registered by December 20, 2004.
- You can exploit this campaign once.
