I guess the medical aspect is semi interesting. Probably best to land somewhere that can try and stave off labour with nifedipine and get some betamethasone into the mother to help the kids lungs, rather than continuing and having an inevitable premature delivery. Can always get a medical plane out to take mum somewhere more suitable once she’s stabilised
(I assume none of that would be available on board? I don’t have a copy of the list for Hong Kong but from the EU and Singapore lists it seems unlikely although slightly possible they may have injectable salbutamol which would do the trick, possibly. The injectable corticosteroid referenced I imagine is most likely there for anaphylaxis so probably more a hydrocortisone)
