And the fact the fare is semi-flexible has nothing to do with the application of historical fares. This is governed by IATA reso 17f: historic fares apply in 2 cases:
1) changes before departure: other than 1st fare component
2) after departure (1st coupon used) - any changes, well to be technically correct - virtually any.
