Similar cancellation fee waiver was issued by CX this year to incentize cancelling "discount fares", its nothing new. Also because this fare is booked into C class (semi flexible) as #48 stated, historical fare will apply (#47 was incorrect). Historical fare repricing also applied to the CX fare earlier this year as its been booked into semi-flex tickets.
