I was being transported from Germany to the US, so there's no cabotage. But from the BOS agents' perspective, I was flying BOS-SFO. And they work at the airport.
Just out of curiosity, what (type of) agent would you have been dealing with that would have seen this and raised the issue? How would they have known?
