This may be perception only, but it seems Hamptons generally are in smaller/less urban locations compared with HGIs. Plenty of exceptions on both sides, I'm sure, but I've seen more HGIs in urban locations and more Hamptons on the outskirts. Like other brand differentiations, seems like the lines have gotten blurry over the years.
