Looks like Oceanfront rooms are more expensive than Club rooms, but don’t carry Club access. Am I right.
I've stayed Cabo and Cancun, and you should get full Globalist benefits regardless of points or cash payment. If Globalist, you always have club access.
I would not expect a Globalist upgrade if it is busy, just like at any hotel.
