However, based on some posts here, it does show mismanagement or poor management, but again, Marriott can deal with that themselves. As long as the property is professional, friendly, and in good shape, I have no problem with seeing SPG signs to remind me of the good old days.
There are legacy Marriott properties that
still have the old Marriott logo.
So spg aside, Marriott isn't chasing people around to rapidly change everything out. And there's minimal value in doing so, spg doesn't cause tons of brand confusion, as to the end user the chain brand (Westin, W, RC etc.) are what matter.
