They were the hot status toaster a few years ago. Every wedding registry had a Dualit on it. IMO, i can think of about 1000 other ways to spend that $$. How much time are you wasting now waiting for your toast? Is saving an extra minute really that important? I think it is all hype but if you think waiting 3 minutes for toast is too long, go for it.

Yeah you are also limited with the bread thickness in a traditional toaster. And you can't make cinnamon toast either... So I find a toaster oven to be better too.
