I do agree you do deserve some sort of compensation for the hassle you experienced , It’s particularly bad that they gave you the keys to someone else’s room , I’ve had this happen to me a couple of times over the years , I now lock anything valuable in the safe just in case.
A couple of years back my lady had her cigarettes stolen from our room by the maid here....I received 20k of points (if I remember correctly)
