This seems to indicate that if I only use MAD-YYZ and elect to continue on my own from YYZ-BOS, I would receive a partial refund for the YYZ-BOS leg (it does not mention repricing - am I missing something??)
If you find yourself
stuck in an intermediate point, you can choose to cancel the rest of the ticket for a (prorated) refund. You are not currently stuck anywhere, and you have weeks to make a good faith effort to find an option satisfactory to you. The tariff spells out specifically what is basic contract law: unable to fuffil exactly what they sold you, they will try for something close or offer a full refund.
They have notified you of a schedule change. You have three options: a) voluntarily accepting their rebooking, b) voluntarily cancelling everything for a full refund, or C) voluntarily negotiating with them for something else which you would then mutually agree too. You have several weeks to take care of yourself and your needs. A and B are contractual obligations. C is good faith service and
renegotiation of the contract..
You have some wiggle room in what they will do for you, but changing your trip to something else isn't it. Cancel, get your cash, rebook.
