This seems to indicate that if I only use MAD-YYZ and elect to continue on my own from YYZ-BOS, I would receive a partial refund for the YYZ-BOS leg (it does not mention repricing - am I missing something??)
I'm pretty sure that's only applicable to IRROPS, not schedule changes or voluntary non travel on partial segments.
Otherwise, airlines would be screwed on skiplagging - you'd both pay a lower fare and they'd owe you money.
