Has anyone made or aware of anyone else making an actual calculator to calculate the actual earnings on partner tickets. It would be good to be able to punch in actual numbers into a spreadsheet and have it tell you if you are better off purchasing the ticket direct from United or from the partner. I have an upcoming trip that is LAX-NRT, NRT-TPE and then CAN-NRT-LAX. All segments are on ANA. I have the choice of the following:

United Stock (Z, P) - The ticket is $3800, all business
$3800 less taxes etc = means PQP is less than $3800
Ana Stock (Z,P), the ticket is the same $3800, all business.
Distances flown
LAX-NRT - 5440 Miles
NRT-TPE - 1350 Miles
CAN-NRT-LAX - 7280 Miles
-------
14,070 Miles x 150% for Z, P = 21,105 miles
21,105 Miles /5 = 4,221 PQP if flying on ANA

If I understand this correctly, then I earn 4,221 PQP if on ANA ticket and less than 3,800 if on United stock.

Is this correct ?

Many thanks
J
