Several people I know confirmed in the past they prefer the apron bus transfer as it brings them directly to baggage claim/exit or to the center position for connections. It is sensed as faster way through the airport compared to the A40/A69 arrivals.
For HONs and F, I see that. Limo is fast.
Busses are not. Even if you are first out the door, and even especially then - you just plop down in the bus and wait for 10 minutes before all the masses of people locate their carryon and get out, and that's even before the drive.
