A follow up DP on this. I called in to set up a CD, but then was told the only way I could fund the CD was by opening up a BofA business checking account. Looks like there are more hoops to jump through, so I declined to continue.
This is very different from the past, where you could stop by a branch with a check or cash and have them fund a CD directly in person without this extra hassle. Seriously limits the value of applying for this card if you have two hoops to jump through. IMO, not worth it.
