its because this community wants to know "The Number" for every bank related to abuse tolerance levels. why? because we want to play the game right up to the limit without getting banned. its not a secret that greedy banks have had many executive meetings to discuss how our community can be "used" for their benefit and profit before adverse action is required either by law or by internal metrics (aka public company). banks want to turn our game into their own game and can easily cut when necessary.

as you had noted, if banks really wanted to nuke this entire community, they can 100%. the technology/algos needed to wipe us out is trivial. citi AA train is a great example.
