When I'm traveling within the US for work, yes I eat lounge food for dinner. I'm being thrifty (I'm a per diem employee) and lazy about heading out to get other food... yes, lounge food is all about the same and boring in the US. But so is eating out for the past 10+ years.

When I'm overseas on vacation, I almost never eat lounge food. I want to enjoy local cuisines and try different foods! Which I can get "ironic" often because Asia lounges have MUCH better offerings than US...
I went to China one year w/ my dad.. and he almost always wanted to eat lounge food only to save $$$. I ended up eating out and letting him and my mom go to the lounge in my place
