The new MSY (north) terminal AA counters are towards the end (left or east as you view the terminal from the AA drop off or parking area), and the gates AA are using are on the right (west B concourse); once you go downstairs, at the end of pier / Concourse B, gates B10, -12, -14, -16 iirc. It’s a long walk, if you have any mobility issues.

I hope AA has fixed the bug that they had last week: locally printed (curbside or check-in desk) larding passes weren’t usable by TSA for PreCheck, even if your BP was coded PreCheck, as the bar coding wasn’t acceptable by the TSA scanners. Those of us expecting PreCheck were rechanneled to the back of the regular TSA queues. Mobile boarding passes and BPs self-printed or printed at other airports seemed to work OK. (My connecting BPs were reissued at DFW, as apparently the MSY bar codes wouldn’t work properly there, either.)
