I'm pretty sure they're not airline employees, but third-party contractors, and we have no idea how in-depth the hiring process is. I would hope at bare minimum they do a criminal & DMV check, plus potentially an interview, but maybe that doesn't even count for anything, so the screening is effectively the same as for this app.
