There's some other contributing factor for AA's changes in schedule. All other US airlines are operating at normal schedule, as is LATAM (mostly). Additionally, passengers can use their BP as an exception to be out during curfew on their way to the airport, and flight crew can use their airline credentials, so the curfew doesn't necessarily mean people can't make it there.
