It seems as if this will make 1K qualification easier for domestic last minute 1K flyers. I am generally over 100 segments and close (if not over) $30K in annual fares. I realize this new process is a hit to the international 1Ks but it seems that it makes it a lot easier for domestic flyers to achieve 1K. I am not sure I am happy about this.
