However, I usually use it as an excuse to reach out to the property directly the week of arrival (usually by phone) and tell them the preference and then ask them if they can pre-block me into a suite, saying I just want to know if it was a sure thing to "plan for nap times". Often, they just go ahead and block me in the suite on the spot, but when they can't they do take note for room control when they do day-of, pre-arrival blockings.
