I'm thinking of booking a room with 2 double beds at the Andaz Mayakoba. I'll be a Globalist by the time of this stay, and I'm crossing my fingers for a complimentary suite upgrade. However, all suites at this property only have 1 king bed. Would this automatically remove me from consideration for a complimentary suite upgrade? Or perhaps can I expect the hotel to still consider me for a suite upgrade if I tell them in advance that I don't mind being moved from my 2-bed setup if it's to a suite?

Basically, my preference is: suite (any setup) > 2 double beds standard room > 1 king bed standard. Since in case I don't get upgraded I do prefer the 2 double beds, I'd rather reserve that if I'll still be in consideration for upgrades. But if I won't or it makes it less likely, then I'll just choose a king.
