Kids traveling for the first time

I travel weekly for work, and I'm, PPro, but I'm taking my wife and kids on a trip to NYC. My daughters have never flown before (5 & 10). It's been a while since I was that young, but I recall being able to board early and visit the flight deck before the flight. Is anyone aware of anything that AA would offer in this situation? Are pre-departure flight deck visits allowed/authorized? They're both very excited to fly, and I want to make that experience a most memorable one for them...I half-jokingly say that AA jets are my office. Thank you in advance.
