Well, I've been through SVO yesterday and I was able to guest in one companion, as per the benefits of Platinum. For the second guest, they happily accepted my Priority Pass. Staff were really friendly and helpful and they let us all come back in when our onward flight to BKK picked up almost 3 hours delay.

About the lounge, I thought it was quite good actually. It was located near gate 31 and was very busy when we entered but calmed down later on. The only thing I didn't like was some idiot sneezing near the open food, so I didn't touch any of that. The hot food, which was enclosed in circular urns, was quite good mostly.
Later, I discovered that there was an upstairs which was quieter. They had one of my favourite Russian dishes, a small cold salad of pickled herring topped with grated beetroot, which I think they call a "fur coat"! You get it in a number of Soviet themed restaurants in Moscow, and I order it every time. There is a premium drink section at the bar and the girls are pushing it quite hard, so you have to watch out what you're ordering. For example, two out the four beers on tap came with a charge.
