I cannot understand why the crew member thought it was better to humiliate this passenger and affect all those around her on a 7-hour flight than to bend a rule requiring passengers to remain seated during a 2-hour ground hold to allow her to use the lav. I understand there are rules but is there no room for compassion or good old fashioned common sense anymore?
