Terminal A the bar can open at 7am. As it is in the town of Elizabeth, NJ not Newark.
Terminal C is in Newark, NJ so 9am.

I had heard this before , when I was in the club in the A terminal a few weeks ago I asked the bartender if this was the case, he said it used to be that way but was now the same across the airport.Just a single data point
