Op-ups are usually run at the gate, so the wait-and-see is not likely to be helpful unless you can get an accurate count on how far PE is overbooked. If it's over by 2 then I wouldn't say your odds are all that high.. if you really want to fly J then I would just spend the GPU but you definitely have a real chance. Hard to say.
