As you live in Australia, and although you're a QFF member, you also most likely have a Virgin Australia Velocity account.

Singapore Airlines is a partner of VA Velocity, so in theory your SQ-coded flight should earn Velocity points and status credits there.

My advice would be to wait until you have returned from your trip, and wait until you have seen all the sectors that should post to Flying Blue post to your account, and then use whatever mechanisms exist in Velocity to "retro-claim" the SQ flight. It might take a bit of perseverance as I am sure they don't often see requests for credit on AF-plated tickets - but in theory it should be possible.
