Due out at 1pm. The plane arrived in Nice last night (if you didn't know already) & I guess the crew timed out (?)

It's actually all seemingly from the the fall out of the planned aircraft being diverted into Barcelona on Friday morning due to weather in Palma, running the rest of the days rotations behind schedule and then not making it to Manchester on Friday night. For reasons unknown it then didn't get out of London City before the curfew yesterday.

This unlucky person was caught up in it as well

Surprised they didn't get JOTA or WDL (or in fact anyone, since they wouldn't have been restricted on aircraft size) to pick up the schedule (as it's now caused a significant delay to Manchester-Dublin and other flights) - but it's been noticeable this year that Titan etc are maxed out covering for Thomson and the likes due to the MAX grounding, meaning ad hoc charter capacity has been thin on the ground

EDIT: JOTA did actually operate Manchester-Alicante rtn, yet this Nice flight and Manchester-Florence both ended up significantly delayed. Not a good weekend for Manchester Cityflyer ops! Strange as they positioned an aircraft to park at Stansted over the weekend out of maintenance, so presumably crew was the main source of the issues
