There's supposed to be an exception policy for high level elites (including Titanium) though it's obviously not externally published and the exact parameters are somewhat unclear (at least to me). This was confirmed to me by a corporate cs rep just a few weeks ago.

Failing that, I agree with margarita girl's suggestion of trying to change the reservation dates.
