I hate that you cannot accumulate points long term with the Wyndham Rewards program. I currently have over 31k points, but 17k of that is expiring next month because of the 4 year crap they have. I am just going to redeem some points on a $100 Target gift card and use 27k points for it. I would've rather accumulate all the points over years with WR and redeem stays at a nice resort. Oh well, at least I have Hilton Honors and IHG points I can splurge with...
If you have ( or can create soon) a Caesars account you can transfer up to 30K Wyndham points a year to Caesars and then back to Wyndham to extend the 18 month and 4 year expiration dates
Personally I get better value at Caesars (15K = $150) than I do at Wyndham so I leave the points at Caesars
