I'm sure that the people who live next to that long set of staircases really hope that it never becomes a tourist destination. It's a most extraordinary little hillside neighborhood. Some of the houses are accessible only from the stairs. I would love to learn more about the people who live there and their lifestyles. I would imagine that of out necessity they have a very different approach to buying anything. Whatever it is, they'll have to get it up or down a lot of stairs.
