A very nice gesture from CX indeed.

On a related note, I find a TPE to CGK or SIN club points run to be more productive somehow (subjective opinion).

You can technically fly out on Friday evening and fly back the same night and board the midnight flight to CGK or SIN and return to HKG Saturday morning time (if you decide to push the TPE leg to a later date for another run).

The downside of it is you get an interrupted sleep but it’s tolerable!
